Creating A Reader

This short read delivers a quick look at how to create a love of reading in your child.

1. Make reading a part of the bedtime routine.
2. Preview the book. Look at the pictures. Make predictions together.
3. Have fun. Children will learn from you that books are fun.
4. Reading stamina is developed.
5. Let your child be involved. They can turn pages, repeat what you read, point to the words, etc.
