Pizza! Who doesn’t love pizza? There are so many ways to enjoy a warm, melty, cheesy, pizza and the best part is that each pie can be as unique as the person who is eating it!
A while back, I put together a reading bundle for my granddaughter based on the book The Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza, and it was a heartwarming experience for me, and I would say it was a very proud moment for her. I read her the book once before Covid. When I saw her recently, I reread the book, and she began to read along with me. Amazing! Then next night, we had homemade pizza for supper, where she proceeded to confidently show me how she already knew how to knead the dough! Giving kids opportunities to experience the world and make connections to what they read opens up a fantastic world!
As I was looking for ways to continue the pizza theme, I came across another book that I highly recommend! World Pizza by CeCe Meng is a picture book for anyone who loves pizza and knows how something so delicious can create a little bit of happiness, or many even something more than that!
